The cornerstone for the current St. Pius X Church was laid on October 12, 1912 for the former St. John Church. On January 31, 1946, fire destroyed most of the interior and roof, and damaged some of the windows. On September 4, 1955, Immaculate Conception Church and St. John’s Church were combined into one church. What was St. John Church became The current St. Pius X Church and Immaculate Conception was torn down in order to build the new St. Pius X School.
